for travel services for the American Studies Summer Institute.
The University of Illinois at Chicago will contract with a qualified firm to provide travel arrangements for a two-week portion of an educational summer program in American Studies for foreign secondary teachers for the summer of 2003. The term of the contract will be renewable for 9 annual periods. The services include but are not limited to: an experienced tri-lingual tour escort to accompany the group, ground and air transportation, hotels, specified tours, specified meals and hosting duties.
The successful firm needs to demonstrate specific experience in areas such as: conducting tours in the Fulbright programs sponsored by U.S. Department of State, tour and host services for diplomatic and consular travel, working with large multi-cultural groups, and ability to lecture on travel topics pertaining to areas that will be visited on the tour.
