Five bids were received but based upon a separate but related internal review of the outcome of the spring session (2005) of the Illinois General Assembly and a resulting shift of University strategies, the requested services no longer encompassed the need to outsource and make an award.

for consulting services for the Illinois Bill of Health Initiative.

The University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide consulting services for the Illinois Bill of Health Initiative for a period starting July 15, 2005 through Junes 30, 2006 with the University's option to renew for an one-year period.

A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM in room 315 at the UIC Student Center East, 750 So. Halsted St. Representatives of the University will be present to answer any questions regarding the services requested or proposal procedures. Attendance at this pre-proposal conference is strongly recommended. (Submitted by Heather J. Haberaecker, State Purchasing Officer.)
