Comments:
The equipment will be used to determine the three-dimensional solution structures of proteins, nucleic acids and complexes with other proteins or with small molecules such as drugs or other inhibitors. This NMR spectrometer will be installed in the new Structural Biology Instrumentation Building (SBIB) funded by a cost-sharing construction grant from the National Institutes of Health under number 1C06 RR16560-01. The National Institutes of Health is also providing full funding under grant number 1P41 GM68944-01 for the purchase of the instrument.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.
