for bookstore management for University Village Marketplace anchor general books/trade bookstore.

The University is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide bookstore management services for a general books/trade bookstore of approximately 8,000 square feet to be located at 1218 S. Halsted Street as a part of the retail center known as University Village Market Place for the period August 1, 2003 through June 30, 2008 with the option to renew for five additional one-year periods.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held at the Chicago Circle Center, 750 S. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60607 at 10:00am on April 2, 2003 in Room 605. Prospective proposers must respond to Rachel Porrata, Contract Coordinator via email at rporrata@uic.edu or by phone (312) 996-2850 on or before April 1, 2003 with firm name and number of attendees. A maximum of 3 representatives from each firm may attend. Proposals submitted by companies not in attendance at any mandatory conference may not be accepted.
