The University awarded a contract for Technical Support Services.
Technical Support Services for the Candidate Conservation with Assurances (CCAA) Program. Cardno will continue its technical support to the Energy Resources Center at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and their administration of the Nationwide Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances for Monarch Butterfly on Energy and Transportation Lands (Agreement CCAA).
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) The Energy Resources Center at UIC has been partnering with Cardno since the inception of the CCAA Program. This partnership has been beneficial for both parties, and it is in the best interest of UIC to continue that. This partnership has allowed for the successful completion of program objectives and deliverables.
