The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Parking Garages C-7 and C-10 Rehabilitation at the Urbana Campus project.
Project Description
The project consists of the installation of a permanent sheet piling retaining wall, the removal of a deteriorated retaining wall and bracing system, installation of aluminum safety railing, and rehabilitation of concrete stairs in Parking Structures C-7 and C-10 at the Urbana campus.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, March 1, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will begin in Suite 514 at the Illini Union Bookstore, 807 S. Wright St., Champaign, Illinois, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, February 22, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
