The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Wardall roof replacement - Illinois Street Residence Hall - Urbana project.
The project, for which base bids are being taken, consists of roof tear-off and replacement with fully adhered single-ply membrane system, including insulation and flashings for the area of approximately 80 squares as shown on the drawings.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, March 30, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the jobsite at Illinois Street Residence Hall, Conference Room #26 in the basement of the Food Service Building, 1010 West Illinois Street, Urbana, IL at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, March 23, 2000. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures, and bidders will have an opportunity to examine the job site. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
