The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Electric Distribution - Phase 5 - UIUC Electrical Installation Component Project at the Urbana Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of the installation of signal and control wiring from existing substation switchgear building to 145 KV breakers, 69/13.8 KV transformers, PT's, CT's and air break switches. Installation includes control power, low voltage and remote I/O including PLC components.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, June 20, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Motor Pool Conference Room B-3 at 10:30 a.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, June 5, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
