The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Bardeen Quad Bicycle Parking Additions at the Urbana Campus.

Project Description
The project consists of selective bicycle pavements and landscape improvements, bicycle racks, and selective site demolition. Preparation shall be made for new concrete pavement, base preparation, and new bicycle racks. Additional preparation shall be made for area fill.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, June 28, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Prebid Meeting
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 504 of the Illini Union Bookstore, 807 S. Wright St., Champaign, IL, at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Friday, June 22, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
