Project Description
The $1.5 million project is to remodel approximately 30,000 gsf of floor space in Clark Hall, a building that contains the administration offices of the Housing Division. The remodeled space will include the following: Housing Director and staff, Contracts and Assignments, Accounting and Payroll, Residential Life, Student Government offices, Library Services, Certified Housing, Computer Services, Conference/Programming areas, restrooms and circulation space. This project will include new partitions, ceilings and finishes and upgrading the mechanical and electrical system, including the computer wiring.
A feasibility study has been completed by an architect and will form the basis for the remodeling project. The project will be funded by the University.

Proposals
Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2000, addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Business presence in Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
