The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Peabody Drive and Taft/Van Doren Floor Tile Replacement at Urbana Campus.

Project Description
The project consists primarily of replacing vinyl composition tile and rubber base in the corridors of five buildings each with four floors totaling approximately 42,000 square feet.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, March 21, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Prebid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 50, Peabody Drive Residence Halls Basement, 206 Peabody Drive, Champaign, IL at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, March 15, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
