The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Cafeteria Renovation, Public Affairs Center, at the Springfield Campus project.
Project Description
The project consists of minor demolition and remodeling of approximately 2,500 square feet of space in the present service line area of the Public Affairs Center. Work consists of new ceilings, floors, walls, windows, plumbing, ventilating, electrical, and general work.
Bid Proposals
For Division II through Division VI work, bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Wednesday, February 28, 2001. For Division I work, bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Friday, March 2, 2001. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Friday, March 2, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Public Affairs Center Cafeteria at the University of Illinois at Springfield at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on February 19, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
