The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Illinois Street Residence Hall Ventilation Upgrades at Urbana project.

Project Description
The project consists of ventilation improvements of existing Illinois Street Residence Halls. Work includes the installation of two roof top air handling units and modifications to existing corridor ventilation supply systems within Townsend and Wardall Hall.

Bid Proposals
Bids for Divisions IV and V work will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, May 27, 2003. Bids for Division I work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, May 29, 2003.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, May 29, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held at Illinois Street Residence Halls Basement Room 18 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, May 19, 2003. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
