The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Townhouse Apartments Phase II at Springfield.

Project Description
The project consists of the construction of Townhouse Apartments consisting of thirteen buildings, each with four four-bedroom units, including two laundry-storage buildings, parking, site, and landscape development.

Bid Proposals
Bids for Division II through Division V work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m.. prevailing time, on Wednesday, September 18, 2002. Bids for Division I work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Friday, September 20, 2002. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Friday, September 20, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in Conference Room "F", Public Affairs Center (PAC) at 10 a.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, September 10, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
