Request for Professional Services Qualifications (QBS): Krannert HVAC Improvements
First published Thursday, August 2, 2001
Qualifications and supporting materials will be accepted at the address below until 4:00 PM, Friday August 17, 2001:

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
207 Henry Administration Building
506 South Wright Street
Urbana, IL 61801-3684

Description of Project
The HVAC system in this 30-year old building is increasingly unable to produce the proper ventilation rates for return and outside air. Poor mixing has resulted in stratification; causing air-handling systems to shut down for freeze protection of the system. This project will reconfigure ductwork to facilitate installation of replacement dampers, increase ventilation rates and provide better mixing of outside and return air.
