The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programshereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Armory remodel for track replacement at the Urbana Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of minor demolition and remodeling of approximately 2,000 square feet, including concrete and masonry work, doors frames, and hardware, painting, signage and window shades and a 57 m2 climbing wall simulation. Minor mechanical and electrical work are included as required to support the above remodeling.

Bid Dates
Bids for Divisions II - V work will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, July 29, 2003. Bids for Division I work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, July 29, 2003. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room #128, Physical Plant Services Building, 1501 S. Oak, Champaign, IL 61820 at 3:30 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, July 15, 2003. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
