Request for Professional Services Qualifications (QBS): Digital Computer Lab Remodeling

Project Description
This project will remodel approximately 6,850 square feet on the 3rd floor of Digital Computer Lab to create 39 student interview rooms, a waiting room and an employee coffee room for the College of Engineering Career Services. The area to be remodeled includes room 3310 and surrounding offices relating to the existing library area on the third floor.

Submittals
Firms should submit one electronic copy of a CDB SF 255 form (in pdf format) by 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2003, using the submit button on the University of Illinois Office for Capital Programs website (see below).

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Minimum Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
