Project Description
Chemistry Annex is a wet laboratory building used for both education and research. This project seeks to develop a useful, comprehensive master plan in consideration of future renovations in the facility. Emphasis will be placed on the feasibility of modernizing instructional chemistry laboratories to contemporary standards.

The study will consider the needs of the entire building, but primary focus will be placed on developing a plan for the east side of the facility, as well as the entire top floor.

Proposals
Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form* by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2004, addressed to:

The professional services consultant selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system

Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
