The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the a campus wide chilled water system at the Urbana campus project.
Project Description
The project consists of providing underground chilled water, compressed air, and raw water piping throughout the University of Illinois at its Urbana-Champaign campus. Miscellaneous work with other utilities, including, but not limited to, steam, sanitary, telecommunications, electrical, and work at the steam tunnel is also required.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, April 25, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 127 Physical Plant Services Bldg., 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, April 17, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
