The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Campus Wide Central Chilled Water System - Bid Package #3 at the Urbana Campus.

Project Description
The project consists of construction of a new 20,000-ton chilled water plant to serve the campus. Initial equipment installation includes cooling tower, chillers (1 at 2000-ton electric and 2 at 5000-ton steam) and associated pumps, piping, support equipment and site work.

Bid Proposals
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Tuesday, June 18, 2002, for Divisions II - VI. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Thursday, June 20, 2002, for Division I Work. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, June 20, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held at the Physical Plant Services Building, Room 128, at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Thursday, May 23, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
