Project Description
The project will replace all the copper gutters in the south section of Altgeld Hall, all of the copper gutter and downspouts on David Kinley Hall, and replace the built-in gutter and downspouts on the Main Library. The existing copper gutter and downspouts are heavily eroded and allowing water into the structure causing damage to the structure and interior finishes. It is the intent of the University to bid the project as soon as possible.

Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2001, addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Business presence in Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
