The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Chicago Circle Center - Third and Fourth Floors South at Chicago project.

Project Description
The project will renovate the third floor and create a fourth floor mezzanine for student services and student organization offices. Work will include revisions to existing HVAC systems including new distribution ductwork, new electrical service, lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm system and general construction including walls, floors and new interior finishes.

Bid Proposals
Bids for Divisions II through VI work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Wednesday, March 5, 2003. Bids for Division I work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, March 6, 2003. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, March 6, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in Chicago Circle Center, third floor south at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, February 18, 2003. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
