Request for Information: Chicago Circle Center - 4th Floors Addition

Description of Project
This project will include design and construction administration for a new 4th floor area within the existing high-bay area of the 3rd floor south in the Chicago Circle Center building. The floor area will be used for additional offices and conference rooms that are required for various student organizations. Engineering will be required for structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical improvements to all existing building systems to support the additional area.

This project design will be based on a master plan previously prepared by another architect.

Proposals
Firms should submit 4 copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2001. addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
