The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Chicago Circle Center - Renewal - Asbestos Abatement project.

Project Description
Perform asbestos abatement throughout the building as required to allow for the renewal project.

Bid Dates
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2 p.m. prevailing time, on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 for Division 7 Asbestos Abatement work. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, May 2, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Chicago Circle Center Tower, 750 S. Halsted Street, Conference Room 509-510 on Wednesday April 18, 2001 at 2 p.m. Representatives of the owner and the consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend. Bid Documents will be available for distribution at the Pre-Bid conference.
