Description of Project
Remodel Illinois Rooms and corridor area adjacent to Illinois Rooms on the 3rd floor of Chicago Circle - South at the University of Illinois at Chicago. General remodeling will include the removal and replacement of existing flooring, replace existing folding room divider walls, remove and replace existing ceilings, lighting and ductwork, upgrade electrical service, install new ceiling mounted support speaker system (vocal), provide new wall finishes and remove and replace existing AHU located in adjacent mezzanine.

Professional Services Consultant Submittals
Firms should submit 4 copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use latest CDB SF) by 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Minimum Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
