The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the South Campus Development - Adaptive Reuse District - Phase IIA at the Chicago Campus project.
Adaptive Reuse Phase IIA Improvements include the rehabilitation/ reconstruction of the existing two buildings located at 1301 and 1305 South Halsted Street and the reconstruction of a facade with a new building located 1313/15 South Halsted Street in the UIC South Campus Development Area.
For Divisions IIA - Plumbing; IIB - Fire Protection; III - Heating; IV - Ventilation and Air Distribution; and V - Electrical, bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Friday, March 1, 2002. For Division I - General, bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 5, 2002.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, March 5, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the South Campus Development Team Office, 1401 South Halsted Chicago, IL at 1:30 p.m. prevailing time on Friday, February 15, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
