The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Phase 4 Infrastructure Improvements, Fountain Park, at Chicago.

Project Description
The Phase 4 Infrastructure Improvements project for Fountain Park includes the construction of a neighborhood park between S. Peoria Street and S. Sangamon Street, south of 14th Place. The project also includes sewer and water service construction, area lighting construction, construction of a water feature and landscaping work.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, December 4, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held at the South Campus Development Team Office, 1401 South Halsted Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607 at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on Friday, November 8, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
