Project Description
The University of Illinois at Chicago is considering the planning for the expansion of the Hull House on its east side campus. The new building(s) would be sited to the south of the existing Hull House Complex in the South Garden area. Site development including an ornamental garden fence enclosure and landscape design may also be required.

The building(s)is to be two to three stories in height and roughly 10,000 to 12,000 square feet in area.

Initial commission will be limited to the development of a building program, preliminary design concepts and preparation of appropriate presentation materials.

Firms should submit 4 copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a CDB SF 255 form (Section 13 should be modified to include additional information of relevant projects).

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1). It is anticipated that the selected A/E will continue to provide the professional services for the project, subject to the availability of funds.

Interested firms should not forward brochures or other data until notified by the Chicago Office for Capital Programs.

Licensed to practice as an architect in the State of Illinois
Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
Business presence in Illinois
Utilization of AutoCAD Compatible System
