The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Utilities Gap Work, Cabling, at the Chicago Campus project.
Project Description
The project consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing a new 500 MCM cable in an existing electrical ductbank/manhole system.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 AM local time, on Friday, March 2, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Facilities Management, Physical Plant Building, 1140 South Morgan Street, Conference Room B16, Chicago, Illinois 60607 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, February 22, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
