The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Roof Replacement of the Eye and Ear Infirmary at the Chicago Campus.
Project Description
The project consists of the complete removal of existing built-up roofing membrane and insulation and installation of new tapered insulation and gravel-surfaced built-up roof membrane system.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Tuesday, April 16, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
Pre-Bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in the OCP offices at 1140 S. Paulina St., Chicago Illinois at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, April 8, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders must attend.
