Request for Professional Services Qualifications (QBS): Masonry and Window Replacement

Project Description
The scope of this project includes masonry restoration and window replacement for this building. Masonry work component includes brick replacement, lintel replacement, thru wall flashing, tuckpointing and all other necessary masonry repair work. The window replacement component includes removal of the old window units, replacement with new energy efficient windows that match other recently replaced windows and all other related work.

A/E Submittals
Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB pre-qualification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2002, addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

A/E Minimum Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an Architect in the State of Illinois
  • Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
