The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Roof Replacement of Applied Health Science Building at the Chicago Campus project.

Project Description
The work consists of the complete removal of existing built-up roofing membrane and insulation and installation of new tapered insulation and gravel-surfaced built-up roof membrane system.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:30 AM local time, on Tuesday, June 4, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in Room 107 at 1919 W. Taylor Street, Chicago Illinois, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, May 23, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders must attend.
