Description of Project
This project consists of developing design and construction documents for the remodeling of a large, outdated research laboratory (Rooms 343 & 345-369) into eight modern research laboratories and office support for four investigators for the College of Pharmacy. In addition to the office and laboratories required, the project also includes the installation of a cell culture lab, tumor lab, common equipment room, darkroom, and microscope room. An NIH Grant will provide partial funding for this project.

Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a list of the proposed staff and the staff's specific relevant experience, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2001 addressed to:

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an Architect/Engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Business presence in Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
