Project Description
The primary purpose of this project is to repair and renovate the building's plumbing system and eliminate leaks from the penthouse. The work includes waterproofing the penthouse to stop the water leaks, installation of isolation valves on risers and floor branches, replacement of leaking drain pans and plumbing and process piping, replacement of sump pumps and related assemblies and other work related to putting the building's plumbing system back into proper working condition.

A/E Submittals
Firms should submit 4 copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2001, addressed to:

Engineer/Architect selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

A/E Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an engineer/architect in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
