Request for Information: Feasibility Study - College of Dentistry

Project Description
The project consists of the preparation of a feasibility study for the redevelopment, beautification and re-stacking of functions in the existing College of Dentistry Building on the University of Illinois at Chicago Campus. The work will be confined within the existing building which includes approximately 240,000 gross square feet. The re-stacking will cluster patient care areas and group practices on the lower floors of the building, with office and research functions on the upper levels.

Proposals
Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) and other materials as discussed at the pre-submittal meeting by 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2001, addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Interested firms are urged to attend a pre-submittal meeting, scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in Classroom 501 in the College of Dentistry Building at 801 S. Paulina Street, Chicago, Illinois, for discussion and questions related to the development of this project.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect/engineer in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Business presence in Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
