The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Renovation of Organ Transplant Unit, U of I Hospital, Chicago Campus (Plumbing Division Rebid) project.

Project Description
The project consists of interior renovations to the existing Organ Transplant patient care area, consisting primarily of reconfiguration of the nurse station and other core areas to allow for an upgrade to an intensive care level unit in the U of I Hospital at Chicago.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Friday, January 26, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 703E of the Hospital, 1740 W. Taylor, Chicago, Illinois, at 9:30 a.m., prevailing time, on Thursday, January 18, 2001. Advise Hospital Security at the elevator checkpoint that you are there for this meeting. Representatives of the owner will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
