The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the UIC Hospital GI Lab Remodeling.


Renovations to existing Gastro-Intestinal Department and conversion of adjacent space for a total of 9, 500 square feet. Work will include but is not limited to interior demolition, partitions, finishes, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, telecommunication and miscellaneous work.


Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:30 p.m. prevailing time, on September 15, 1998, for Divisions II through V work. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:30 p.m. prevailing time, on September 22, 1998, for Division I work. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at: The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, c/o OFFICE OF CAPITAL PROGRAMS, 1140 S. PAULINA ST., CHICAGO, ATTN: (BRADLEY W. APPI�R).

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:30 AM local time, on Tuesday, September 15, 1998. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 1130, University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago, IL at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on September 2, 1998.
