Project Description
The project consists of the remodeling of approximately 4,600 square foot of space to house 100 computer work stations as well as other medical computers and main frame computers for the Information Technology Systems department. The space is located in the basement of the University Hospital. The operation of all computers requires the installations of special chillers as well as the use of an emergency generator and a dedicated UPS system. Mechanical, electrical, telecommunication and data communication systems and other building systems will also be provided as required.

Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2000, addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect/engineer in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Business presence in Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
