The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Information Technology System Phase 1B Space, Chicago Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of providing all required utilities to a newly built computer room of approximately 1700 square feet. The room will have its own dedicated HVAC, uninterrupted power supply, electrical, and communication systems.

Bid Proposals
For Division II through Division V, bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, on Tuesday, November 28, 2000. For Division I, bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, on Thursday, November 30, 2000. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 AM local time, on Thursday, November 30, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Conference Room 244, Office for Capital Programs, 1140 South Paulina, Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, November 20, 2000. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
