The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the window replacement, Neuropsychiatric Institute - CHICAGO.

Project Description
The project includes the replacement of the existing single glazed steel sashes with new thermally broken aluminum windows and insulating glass on the South Tower of the Neuropsychiatric Institute. Also included is replacement of the remaining windows on the North Tower eighth floor and the two-story connecting building between the two towers.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 AM local time, on Monday, June 26, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in Room 120, Paulina Street Building, 1140 South Paulina, Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, June 15, 2000. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are required to attend.
