The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Neuropsychiatric Institute Roof Replacement at the Chicago Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of removal of existing roof membrane and insulation down to the roof deck and installation of new vapor barrier, tapered insulation and modified bitumen roof membrane and includes minor masonry tuckpointing.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Thursday, September 12, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in Room 244 of The Office for Capital Programs, 1140 South Paulina Street, Chicago, Illinois, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, August 29, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
