The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the School of Public Health and Psychiatric Institute - Basement Demolition - Chicago project.

Project Description
The project consists of the selective demolition of the existing kitchen and library areas in the basement of the School of Public Health and Psychiatric Institute.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Monday, August 14, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Conference Room 244, Office for Capital Programs, 1140 South Paulina Street, Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, August 7, 2000. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
