The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the renovation of the School of Public Health and Psychiatric Institute Phase III - Division II & IV rebid at the University of Illinois - Chicago project.

Project Description:

The project consists of remodeling floors 9, 10, 11, and partial basement as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and temperature control infrastructure work of an existing occupied eleven-story, high rise building.

Bid Dates: Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Monday, April 30, 2001, for Division II plumbing work and Division IV- sprinkler work at 1140 South Paulina, Street, Room 204, Chicago, IL 60612. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 AM local time, on Monday, April 30, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference:

A pre-bid conference will be held in the offices of OCP at 1140 South Paulina Street, Chicago, IL 60612 in Room 244 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, April 16, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
