The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Advanced Computation Building Addition - Urbana project.
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign proposes to build an addition to the Advanced Computational Building for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). The project consists of a two-story structure of approximately 17,000 gsf. The first floor consists of a mechanical space used to support the computer room located above. Some renovation of the existing facility is required.
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, May 2, 2000, for Division II through Division VI work.
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, May 4, 2000, for Division I work.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, May 4, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 105 at the Advanced Computation Building, 1011 W. Springfield, Urbana, IL, at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, April 25, 2000. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
