The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the DIA East Football Practice Fields Renovation - Urbana.

Project Description
The project consists of abandoning existing irrigation system, providing and installation of an underdrain and new irrigation system, excavation, placement of growing medium, grading, and sod installation.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 3:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, March 22, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 503 of the Illini Union Bookstore, 807 S. Wright St., Champaign, IL 61820 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, March 14, 2000. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
