The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Clark Hall Renovation at the Urbana Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of renovation of 37,500 square feet of administrative and student lounge space and will include new partitions, ceilings and finishes and upgrading the mechanical and electrical system, including the computer wiring.

Bid Proposals
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on April 29, 2002, for Division II (Plumbing), Division III (Heating), Division IV (Ventilation), Division V (Electrical) and Divison VI (Fire Protection) work. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on April 30, 2002 for Division I (General) work. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, April 30, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held Room 130, North Lounge, Clark Hall, 1203 South Fourth Street, Champaign, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, April 22, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
