The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the the Storm Drainage Improvements at the Springfield campus.

Project Description
This project will provide drainage improvements to the south campus area including the townhouse apartments, furnish and install storm sewer, furnish excavation and rough grade, finish grade and seed; at the soccer field, furnish and install pipe culvert, excavate drainage swales, finish grade and seed.

Bid Dates
Bids for General work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on June 25, 2004. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Friday, June 25, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room BSB 31, Business Services Building, University of Illinois-Springfield at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on June 16, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
