The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the PAR Replace Roofs - Babcock & Saunders at the Urbana campus - MODIFIED project.
Project Description
Roof tear-off and replacement with fully-adhered single-ply membrane system including tapered insulation and flashings on two buildings of approximately 106 squares each (212 squares total).
This project includes a project labor agreement that will be executed between the lowest responsive/responsible bidder and the East Central Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council. A copy of the project labor agreement is included in the project bid documents, General Project Requirements.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, March 16, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in PAR/Carr Conference Rm. #111, 906 W. College Court, Urbana, IL at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, March 10, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the professional services consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
