The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the the Chiller Oak St. Plant 2200 Ton Chiller Installation at the Urbana campus project.
This project will consist of the installation of a new 2200-ton capacity electrical driven centrifugal chiller.
This project includes a project labor agreement that will be executed between the lowest responsive/responsible bidder and the East Central Building and Construction Trades Council. A copy of the project labor agreement is included in the project bid documents, General Project Requirements.
Bids for Divisions III and V work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, August 17, 2004. Submit all proposals to the Owner at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, August 17, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Oak Street Chiller Plant, 1305 S. Oak Street, Champaign, IL 61820 at 8:30 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, August 12, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the professional services consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
