Addendum 1 - This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the "UIC - COE MAKERSPACE BID DOCUMENTS dated 05.01.2020".

Addendum 2 - This Addendum is being issued to allow for electronic bidding on this project instead of the original hard copy delivery.

Project Description
Installation of Makerspace - a workshop type space managed by the College of Engineering in which engineering students, physically build prototypes of their designs. The space will provide the workspace and services necessary for the students to perform their work in a safe environment.

Project will include:
Installation of makerspace in existing garage space
Remove & replace existing floor
New power & data distribution; new lighting - Connect to existing primary panel
New HVAC system; connect to existing air handler
New plumbing & fixtures as shown on drawings
New doors & partitions as shown on the drawings
New steel framed mezzanine
Finish installations as shown on the drawings
Replace 2 existing overhead doors, infill 1 overhead door per drawings
